(b) "Passenger automobiles" shall mean all pneumatic-tire vehicles of types similar to those usually known under the following terms: touring car, command car, speedster, sports car, roadster, jeep, cycle, car (except motor wheel and similar small outfits which are classified with motorcycles), coupe, landaulet, closed car, limousine, cabriolet, and sedan. Trailers having any number of wheels, when propelled or intended to be propelled by attachment to a motor vehicle, shall be classified as separate motor vehicle with no power rating. (a) "Motor Vehicle" shall mean any vehicle propelled by any power other than muscular power using the public highways, but excepting road rollers, trolley cars, street-sweepers, sprinklers, lawn mowers, bulldozers, graders, fork-lifts, amphibian trucks, and cranes if not used on public highways, vehicles which run only on rails or tracks, and tractors, trailers and traction engines of all kinds used exclusively for agricultural purposes. The provisions of this Act shall control, as far as they apply, the registration and operation of motor vehicles and the licensing of owners, dealers, conductors, drivers, and similar matters. This Act shall be known as the "Land Transportation and Traffic Code." Or, if they have to ride on our road, I wish they would ride facing the traffic instead of riding with it.AN ACT TO COMPILE THE LAWS RELATIVE TO LAND TRANSPORTATION AND TRAFFIC RULES, TO CREATE A LAND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES We have bike trails nearby, I wish they would go ride those instead of on this road. I am a "keep my mouth shut unless asked" mother/mother-in-law where my adult children and grandchildren are concerned but oh, my goodness it's hard not to say something when I see them riding their bikes on our busy road. I shudder to think what could happen if a truck driver didn't see them for some reason. I just saw my son-in-law and two young (12 and 8) grandchildren ride by on their bikes and a big truck was passing them. We live on a country road, but it's super busy with heavy truck use. Here the rule is you walk against the flow of traffic when walking along a road side, and you ride a bike with the flow of traffic in the road.
